Getting There...
After high school, Paris and science at university where he meets
the girl who will be his wife for more than 30 years.
“Flamenco is too loud”. Out of love, he turns to classical guitar.
Meetings with the great masters of the time: Turibio Santos, Oscar
Caceres, Alberto Ponte, Alexandre Lagoya…
1975. Master’s degree from the International Musical University of
Paris. A period of serious self-questioning follows and he works on
new approaches more adapted to his musical training.
New encounters with composers such as Francis Schwarz, a pupil of
John Cage, with whom he works on analysis and composition.
Then new generation guitarists, John Williams, Roberto Aussel,
Alvaro Piarri, etc… and their mentors Martinez-Zaraté and most of
all Abel Carlevaro, founder of what is to this day the most perfect
conception of the art. |
