1. Beginnings
His
French mother, formerly a violonist, decides that he too will play
the violin.
At the
age of 7, in a music academy in northern France, he is made to study
often tiresome music notation and the art of playing that difficult
instrument.
His first
practical experience – in chamber music and symphony orchestra.
Then,
into music composition, the responsibilities of conducting, the
demands, the rigors, the temptations to give up. Recognition, however, finally crowns his efforts. |
